How to get your Marine Boat Licence and combined PWC / Jet Ski Endorsement
Attend one of our 4 hour courses and pass the Transport Safety Victoria test, and then the PWC / Jet Ski Endorsement test. At the end of the course and the TSV test, you receive a TSV Certificate, take it to VicRoads, pay the annual licence fee, have your photograph taken and then you are a licenced boat operator.

To get a Boat Licence?
You attend one of our 4 hour courses and pass the TSV test. At the end of the course, you receive a TSV Certificate to take to VicRoads to pay the annual licence fee, have your photograph taken and then you are a licenced boat operator.
You bring to the course the required Identification (see below).
The cost $120, payable at the start of the course by cash or card.
To get a PWC Jet Ski Licence?
You attend one of our 4 hour Marine Boat courses and pass the TSV test for your Marine Boat Licence and then the Jet Ski Endorsement Test.
The cost $120, payable at the start of the course by cash or card.
If you already have a Marine Boat Licence and require the Jet Ski Endorsement, you are required to attend the full 4 hour course and sit for just the PWC Endorsement test — for a cost of just $80.
Who can get a Boat or Jet Ski Licence?
You must have turned 12 years old
12 to 16 year olds can get a Restricted Marine Licence (and with a PWC endorsement) with the following basic restrictions, Max of 10 Knots, Not at night and Must not Tow
Once you turn 16, you have a General Marine Licence
Identification
You must bring along to the course Proof of your Identity.
This is normally a Current Vic Drivers Licence/ Learners Permit.
For younger persons:- a Birth Certificate or Passport,
plus
Medicare or School ID Card.
